About PRINT 17: Toyo Kuwamura of Canon Solutions America

He recently sat with Julie Plata, OutputLinks Communications Group’s co-CEO, to share his thoughts on how Canon’s dedication to innovation will be displayed at PRINT 17.

Toyo Kuwamura’s Canon career began in 1980 selling copiers in downtown Tokyo. Three years later, he was transferred to New York City as one of Canon’s first overseas trainees. Over his career in Japan, Canada, and the U.S., Toyo has gained a broad understanding of how the different pieces of the Canon Global portfolio come together to offer customers a premier, unified and client centric industry force. Toyo shares, “My primary responsibility, which I take very seriously, is to serve our customers.”

Serving Customers at PRINT 17

Toyo’s commitment to serve customers is one of the reasons Canon is a key supporter of PRINT 17. “PRINT 17 is a great opportunity to interact with customers and gain a better understanding of their requirements, which allows all of us to strategize on how to grow our industry,” says Toyo.
