Mike recognizes PRINT 17 as an excellent opportunity for him and his team to share their experiences with current and future customers about the challenges and opportunities in navigating the transformation to digital print technology.

Mike’s Canon career began in direct sales. Over the last thirty years, in the U.S. and Japan, he has served in sales support, administration, business operations, marketing solutions, and consulting.

Listening to Customers

The most critical skill Mike says he learned over his career is listening to customers and understanding their needs. Moreover, he looks forward to diligently applying that skill during the many customer conversations he plans to have at PRINT 17.

Driving Digital Transformation

One of the primary subjects Mike and his team expect to discuss at PRINT 17 is the transition enterprises are making to digital environments. Mike says that “When it comes time for a business to transform digitally, the people who feel the pressure the most are the leadership and IT. To do a true digital transformation, there must be a vision from the top.  This is a change management initiative, and it must start at the top.  IT needs the support of leadership as well as a strong partner to make successful changes within an organization”.

Mike’s Enterprise Services and Solutions team will be demonstrating the tools, expertise, and solutions that make Canon Solutions America a perfect digital transformation partner.

Mike strongly recommends attending the NAPCO breakfast at PRINT 17. “We are sponsoring the NAPCO breakfast on Monday morning again this year because we feel this is an important audience for us to address.  The topic we chose this year is security because it is on the minds of everyone these days.  We want to inform our customers of the concerns regarding security especially as it relates to the world of production print.  We will have a security expert on the stage addressing these concerns as well as giving tips on what commercial printers and in-plants can do to keep their environments safe. This is a must attend session for all!”

PRINT 17 will be the perfect event for customers and industry experts to meet, learn and share ideas, with Canon Solutions America.
