Xplor Intl., the worldwide electronic document systems association, recently honored the recipients of its annual 2011 awards. The awards recognize the “Innovator” and “Technology Application of the Year” and are presented at the Xplor Conference and Vendor Forum.
Innovator of the Year Award: This year, the award was presented to HP Extream and its Interactive Document Technology software solution that has revolutionized corporate communications by providing innovative ways to manage the points of contacts between clients and companies.
Two honorable mentions were given to Crawford Technologies for the PRO Production Manager end-to-end document workflow automation, management and reporting application; and to Print Technologies for the VIP3000 envelope feeder, which provides a cost effective and easily integrated solution for mail providers and in-plants for small to medium envelope runs.
Technology Application Award: This year, Xplor recognized Merrill Corp. and InfoPrint Solutions as the winner of the 2011 Technology Application Award for their integrated customer communications and fulfillment, distribution and reporting system. The system increased operational efficiency, reduced operational costs by 15-40% and saved Merrill's clients significant costs.
An honorable mention in this category went to Bassett Direct for its AirMiles Collector Update Application, and to CNNewsprint for a versioned and targeted newsprint application.
