Montreal-based Ultimate Technographics Inc. will release the 64-bit version of its imposition solution at Graph Expo 2010. Impostrip OnDemand Scalable Server Edition, released earlier this year, was designed to bring more speed and efficiency in high volume printing. At Graph Expo, Ultimate will show its newest version, leveraging the power of multiple core 64-bit computers to achieve even better results.
The prototype was first staged in Chicago last fall to bring home the ‘Worth of Look’ mention after being presented in HP’s booth among the partner solutions adapted for the HP Inkjet T300 press. Since then, Ultimate has successfully installed it in two areas, high-volume, short-run books and very high-volume transpromotional printing. With the new development, the Impostrip OnDemand Scalable server will be able to leverage the 64-bit computer capabilities and overcome some of the limitations inherent to the 32-bit computers.
