San Francisco-based Silicon Publishing Inc. will preview the latest version of Silicon Designer, its advanced editor for any type of online, mobile or print document at Graph Expo 2010. This includes web-to-print jobs in the latest version of Adobe Scene7 (5.0), Adobe InDesign CS5 Server and Xerox XMPie Person alEffect 5.0.

Silicon Designer offers real-time preview and a choice of template-based or WYSIWYG editing, including compatibility with Adobe's new FXG 2.0 specification.

Silicon Designer allows businesses to add custom web-to-Print services to their storefronts, even on mobile devices such as the Apple iPhone and iPad. An HTML5 interface is also under development.

"Our development partners have powerful web-to-print and variable data print workflows, but they don't always have the editing capabilities their customers need," says CEO Max Dunn. "Silicon Designer is the answer. It provides an amazing level of visualization and control - when and where it's needed."

Silicon Designer has been integrated into many online print-ordering systems, including business-to-consumer and business-to-business applications. It offers real-time editing and proofing of any document, with rendition fidelity that allows users to see exactly what print output will look like. This happens as content is edited, without waiting for proofs from the server.
