The new Printer Connection allows print providers to send their in-store or online customers directly to their store or locations through Quark’s site.

“The request we hear most often from our print network is the ability to use as a design station for their store — without advertising their competitors when a customer checks out,” says Cyndie Shaffstall, director of QuarkAlliance for Quark. “The new printer-connection feature of was built to help each individual print shop ensure that their customers are automatically directed back to their store for print orders generated through” printers can request a unique URL and promotional code that will identify their store or multiple locations when a customer submits a print order via the site. When a customer clicks a store’s link or enters the promotional code during check-out at, the store list will be limited to the referring store by those identifiers.

“We estimate that every print provider across the nation loses nearly one print job per day due to competition from online printing services that don’t send print business to franchise and independent printers,” continues Shaffstall. “ and the new Printer Connection can help our network of printers provide online design and printing services without a hefty investment in propriety software.”

The Printer Connection feature is scheduled to be available by August 15, 2010. See
