Huston Patterson Corp. (Decatur, IL) recently honored its law firm, Bolen Robinson & Ellis, LLP, as its 2009 "Vendor of the Year." The annual award was presented at a recent company luncheon.
“Each and every year, selecting our ‘Vendor of the Year’ is a difficult challenge,” says Huston Patterson president and CEO Thomas W. Kowa. “This year was a clear-cut decision as they did some amazing things for our companies including winning a decisive case in front of the Illinois Supreme Court. BRE are always there with good, solid legal advice at anytime of any day we need advice. I commend them and look forward to working with them for years to come.”
Huston Patterson management nominates vendors for the award each year based on five criteria: timeliness, service, reliability, cooperation and quality. Cost is not included.
Accompanying Bolen Robinson & Ellis as finalists were NICOAT, Superior Printing Inks, Wikoff Color and Printer’s Service.
Kowa adds, “All our ‘Vendor of the Year’ finalists could have won this prestigious award as they all contribute tremendously to our printing companies. We can be very demanding and I don’t see that ever not being the case. In order to be nominated, and then to become one of our finalist is quite a tribute to the outstanding vendors we have selected to do business with.”
