Webb/Mason expands with two acquisitions

Webb/Mason (Baltimore) has acquired Global DocuGraphiX’s Shelbyville, TN, operation, a printing, promotional products, office products, scanning and document management solutions provider. Webb/Mason also has bought TopForm Software, Inc. (Norcross, GA), a multi-user operational software developer and marketer.

Warner Mason, Webb/Mason president and cofounder, says, “The acquisitions are a natural and logical extension of Webb/Mason’s philosophy to deliver innovative technologies, superior products and outstanding customer service. The acquisitions of the Global DocuGraphiX operation and TopForm reflect our commitment to meet the print management needs of our customers with the industry's broadest portfolio of print services offerings.”

Webb/Mason will retain Global DocuGraphiX’s existing staff of 14 and expects a smooth transition from one organization to another. “Our business philosophies and cultures are very similar,” says Mason.

The new Webb/Mason Shelbyville office will continue to offer the same products, services and capabilities. In addition, customers will benefit from Webb/Mason’s online print procurement system, Enterprise Print Management (EPM) Online, customer service and 17 years of expertise in the print management industry.

TopForm develops and markets multi-user operational software for print distributors internationally. “Webb/Mason has been a TopForm customer for more than 14 years,” says Mason. “Throughout our relationship, we have been instrumental in driving new solutions at TopForm while benefiting from its exceptional software products and customer support. Because of this established synergy, the decision to acquire TopForm was both easy and logical.”

Webb/Mason will retain the existing TopForm staff of 20 and expects a smooth transition.
