Two educators join GAERF board

The Graphic Arts Education and Research Foundation (GAERF) (Reston, VA) has added two experienced educators to its board of directors.
Michael Stinnett, PrintED instructor at Royal Oak High School in Royal Oak, MI, has revived a graphic arts and visual imaging program that had stagnated, and built it into a program of 13 full sections with a substantial waiting list. Stinnett's students have earned more than 300 local, state and national awards and scholarships, including national SkillsUSA Championships.
Philip Age, Ed.D., associate professor in the School of Technology at Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, IL, has been a graphic communications educator for more than 30 years at the high school, community college and university levels. He has been involved in a variety of curriculum development projects, serves in a wide range of industry organizations, and is a frequent contributor to leading industry publications.
