Mar 14, 2007 1:36 PM

KBA North America (Williston, VT) has named Marcus Schoen as the company’s new West Coast district sales manager. He will be based in the based in the Los Angeles region. KBA notes that he will work jointly with William (Bill) Silber in the same territory.

Schoen was born and raised in Germany, where he took his first job 15 years ago in KBA’s factory, learning the intricacies of the KBA press line. He moved to southern California 10 years ago to work as KBA’s nation-wide service technician and product manager inspecting recently-installed KBA presses.

“We believe Marcus will be the best person in this region to show customers and prospects our entire line of highly-technological printing presses,” says Ralf Sammeck, president and CEO, KBA North America. “He has shown an innate ability to work closely with customers and work as a consultant to help them build their businesses as a partner with KBA.”
