Sappi names award winning printers

Sappi Fine Paper North America(Boston) has announced the silver and bronze winners in its 12th annual “North American Printers of the Year” competition. Silver award winners will be invited to attend a gala celebration and awards ceremony May 16-18 in Dallas. Gold award winners, to be chosen from the field of silver awardees in each category, will be announced there.

These eight gold winners will then compete against other category winners from Central and South America, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa to become one of the Sappi “International Printers of the Year.”

Submissions are judged based on the overall impact of the piece, degree of difficulty, and technical excellence. Entries, which must be produced on Sappi paper, are submitted in one of eight categories: Annual Reports, Books, Brochures, Catalogs, Magazines and Journals, Calendars, Printer’s Own Promotions and General Print.
