RIT to host global trade book signing

Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT)’s Printing Industry Center in Rochester, NY, will host a talk with Dr. Ralph Gomory, President of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m., December 7, 2007, at the Golisano Auditorium. Campus map.
Dr. Gomory's recent book, “Global Trade and Conflicting National Interests,” was cowritten with noted economist William Baumol. Dr. Ron Hira, Center researcher and professor of public policy in RIT's College of Liberal Arts, says, “[The book] has shaken up the conventional wisdom on globalization and trade policy.”
The talk is sponsored by the Department of Public Policy of RIT's College of Liberal Arts. A book signing session will follow the presentation. For more information, contact the Printing Industry Center at RIT or call (585) 475-2733.
