Ricoh adds new EFI color print controller

Ricoh Americas Corp. (West Caldwell, NJ) announces the availability of the EFI Fiery E-7100 Print Controller for the Ricoh Aficio MP C6000 and MP C7500 Series.

Designed as a user-friendly workflow optimization tool, the Fiery-based E-7100 Print Controller, when paired with the Aficio MP C6000/MP C7500 series, delivers rapid project processing and queue management. In an effort to be user-friendly, the print server is operator adaptable and can make all color decisions for novices or allow expert users to fine tune their settings.

The icon-driven interface of the E-7100 is customizable and can be arranged to display only the most commonly used features and settings. The Fiery driven key located on the Aficio MP C6000/ MP C7500 control panel allows users to quickly navigate through the print controller’s options all at a touch of a button.

The Fiery E-7100 print controller comes standard with a hard disk drive capacity of 80GB and a 1.8 GHz Intel Celeron M440 processor. For the Aficio MP C6000/MP C7500 series, it is available at the suggested retail price of $7,800.
