More than 300 members of the Kodak (Rochester, NY) Graphic Users Association (GUA) recently gathered at the Wynn Las Vegas to learn about the latest techniques, products and best practices for advancing their graphic communications business.
The GUA’s annual North American Conference included 50 presentations and roundtable discussions on a wide range of topics: workflow, color relationship management, growing a digital print business, the impact of offset class inkjet, sustainability, transitioning from a printer to marketing services provider, trends in MIS, utilizing social networking trends for business purposes, and dozens more.
Attendees had the opportunity to talk with developers from Kodak about their experiences with the company’s software and suggest enhancements that would benefit their operations. Users also could participate in hands-on demonstrations of Kodak’s newest workflow and ecommerce solutions, as well as the Kodak NexPress M700 Digital Color Press.
In its 13th year, the GUA serves more than 4,000 members from 80 countries.
