Purchasing organization names Konica Minolta No. 1

Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA, Inc. (Ramsey, NJ) has been recognized as the 2006 Supplier of the Year by Corporate United, a national group purchasing organization of Fortune 1000 companies. This is the second time this prestigious award has been bestowed on Konica Minolta, which also was honored in 2004.
The Supplier of the Year Award is given to the vendor who ranks the highest in overall member satisfaction based on a survey of all 81 Corporate United member companies. The survey comprises 17 categories of suppliers from which a single company is chosen as Supplier of the Year.
KONICA MINOLTA is currently in its second consecutive four-year contract term with Corporate United as a supplier of digital copiers, solutions and related services. Suppliers of specific commodities and services are analyzed by steering committees, appointed by the Corporate United Advisory Board, who conduct an extensive bid process to ensure unparalleled quality, service and pricing benefits. Member companies then can choose to sign agreements with the selected suppliers on an individual basis.
