Punch Graphix appoints CMO, VP

Punch Graphix Americas (Itasca, IL) has appointed Michael V. Ring as its chief marketing officer and vice president of business development. Ring will be responsible for overall marketing and increasing the sales of Punch Graphix's Xeikon digital color printing solutions in North America. Xeikon systems reportedly have enjoyed rapid growth over the last few years with the introduction of new products and technology.
According to Bram Bourgeois, president and CEO, Punch Graphix Americas, "The immense potential of the Xeikon technology as well as the strength, ambition and dynamics of our team convinced Michael to join our company. I'm confident that Xeikon will benefit from his extensive knowledge of the digital printing market as well as his proven track record of successfully developing and positioning digital printing technology in this very competitive market."
Ring has held several key positions with other companies in the industry, including Xerox, Georgia Pacific and Kodak.
