WAM!NET provides online access to winning ads

WAM!NET (Eagan, MN), a global provider of shared content management and distribution services, has partnered with the American Advertising Federation (AAF) to provide access to the winning entries from AAF’s ADDY Awards, the nation’s largest creative advertising competition, via a customized portal to WAM!BASE. WAM!BASE is WAM!NET’s content archiving service.
From the Web and multiple kiosks at the AAF conference this year, participants can browse the ADDY Awards National Winners Gallery based on award category, division, agency, client, title and credits. The ad content will be available through a custom Web-based portal accessible directly from aaf.org.
"WAM!BASE stores all the content in high-resolution format, and automatically makes it available in a variety of low resolution formats for easy access via the Internet," says Cindy Bergevin, vice president of global marketing for WAM!NET.
GTN, a global production and post-production company and longtime WAM!NET client, helped implement the WAM!BASE solution for AAF by transcoding media clips into digital format and loading all the ad content into WAM!BASE.
