Feb 9, 2004 12:00 PM, AP staff
St. Ives Inc. (London) has announced the decision to close its Case-Hoyt commercial printing operation in Rochester, NY. The plant will close in early April 2004, resulting in the loss of approximately 290 jobs.
The supplier of retail, travel, automotive and annual reports has operated in Rochester since 1919. St. Ives Inc. Case-Hoyt has stated that the pricing currently available in the markets it serves no longer provides a sufficient economic return on the cost base.
