KPG to acquire RealTimeImage’s graphic-arts division

Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) (Norwalk, CT) and RealTimeImage, Inc. (San Bruno, CA) have signed a letter of intent under which KPG will acquire RealTimeImage’s graphic-arts business. At completion of this acquisition, KPG will add the RealTimeProof soft and remote proofing products to its portfolio, including its ASP (Application Service Provider), Express, Private Label, Partner and Classic proofing solutions. RealTimeImage will focus on its healthcare imaging operations.
RealTimeImage’s graphic-arts employees, including research and development, sales and technical staff, will join KPG. The transaction is expected to close by the end of February 2004.
