Kodak completes SDP acquisition

Eastman Kodak Co. (Rochester, NY) has completed its acquisition of the assets of Scitex Digital Printing (SDP) (Dayton, OH) from Scitex Corp. Ltd. The acquisition was first announced in late November. SDP will now operate under the name of Kodak Versamark, Inc., and will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Kodak. Nachum “Homi” Shamir, formerly president and CEO of SDP and CEO of Scitex Corp., has joined Kodak Veramark as president. He will report to James Langley, president, commercial printing, and senior vice president, Eastman Kodak.
