First stacked Rotoman in North America
Dec 12, 2003 12:00 PM, AP staff
Ripon Community Printers (Ripon, WI) has ordered a two-web 16/32-page Rotoman press, with eight units that will work in a stacked configuration, from MAN Roland (Westmont, IL). The press, Ripon’s first heatset web, is also the first stacked Rotoman in North America. Ripon’s Rotoman is expected to be running by spring. The $38 million, 350-employee printer expects that some of its coldset customers will move into heatset printing. An addition to Ripon’s building will eventually house the Rotoman and another stacked web offset press, as well as an inline cover press.
