CIP4 releases new JDF Bulletin and an online FAQ section
Jun 9, 2003 12:00 PM, AP Staff
The International Cooperation for the Integration of Processes in
Prepress, Press and Postpress (CIP4) released a new job definition
format (JDF) Bulletin newsletter and a frequently asked questions (FAQ)
section on its website.
The JDF Bulletin will enable members and nonmembers of CIP4 to stay on
top of organization activities and JDF developments. Delivered via
email and posted to the website six times a year the bulletin will
include current JDF-development activities, JDF-enabled product
releases, details of public/private events and meetings, information on
new members and other CIP4 news items. JDF Bulletin articles are
available in their entirety to both CIP4 members and nonmembers,
however members have access to more in-depth news and reports.
CIP4’s online FAQ section will answer such basic questions as:
"What is CIP4?", "What is JDF?", "What areas of workflow does JDF
cover?", and "Is there a formal JDF compliance process?". This resource
will grow as the demand for information does.
