AccuWeb to unveil infrared array edge detector
Jan 20, 2004 12:00 PM, AP staff
At Graphics of the Americas 2004, which takes place in Miami from January 23-25, AccuWeb, Inc. will introduce its patent-pending digital infrared (IR) array edge detector. The detector’s infrared sensors continually monitor lateral web position and ambient conditions, automatically compensating for passline variations, web flutter, dust and contaminants. The IR detector can reportedly be used with nonwovens, mesh and light paper.
Samples will be on display at the trade show, along with AccuWeb’s ultrasonic web edge detectors, controllers and an assortment of linear actuators. For further information, visit www.accuweb.com or call (608) 223-0625.
