Print 09 show themed ‘myPRINT’

Jun 24, 2008 4:23 PM

PRINT 09 will bring printing industry professionals from around the world to Chicago from September 11-16, 2009. Themed “myPRINT,” the show will focus on customization, from attendee and exhibitor communications to the debut of new online networking forums.

“Increasingly, the printing industry has offered an array of products and processes that enable mass customization of printed communications. Recognizing the prominent place of these innovations, and the effectiveness of personalization in communications today, we've integrated these tools into our own outreach, and aptly themed our 2009 event ‘myPRINT,’” says Ralph Nappi, president of the Graphic Arts Show Company, Inc. (GASC), the show's producer.

myPRINT is expected to host 800+ exhibitors who will fill the nearly 7 hectares (17 acres) of exhibit space, which has been designed to cater to a diverse spectrum of attendees including: Commercial Printers, Quick Printers, In-Plant Printers, Enterprise (High-Volume Output/Transactional) Printers, Package & Specialty Printers, Mailing & Fulfillment Professionals, Creative Services Professionals, Wide Format Printers & Imagers, and Book Printers/Publishers and Newspaper Printers.

Special attractions on the myPRINT show floor will include six special interest "pavilions" for finishing; package printing; prepress software; mailing and fulfillment; wide-format printing; and ad specialties. "Within each of these special show floor features, the opportunity for buyers to get immediate answers to their questions will bring to life new profit possibilities for those seeking to expand their services, and profits, by appealing to new customer market segments," says Nappi.
