Pantone, X-Rite host ‘color freaks’ seminar

Pantone (Carlstadt, NJ) and X-Rite Inc. (Grand Rapids, MI) have announced the 2008 release of the company’s “Color Control Freak” seminar. With a revised curriculum, Color Control Freak 08 offers an in-depth understanding of color, its value in the design process, and techniques for proper reproduction.
The one-day interactive seminar is sponsored by Pantone, HP, Eizo and X-Rite. Industry experts teach attendees basics in color trends and psychology as well as how to collect, build and specify color that remains consistent from screen to print. Participants walk through a study of color psychology, emerging trends and the 2008 color of the year. They learn tips and techniques for coaching their clients through their client’s color preferences, ensuring better communication.
