KBA promotes Raithel to senior v.p., sheetfed sales

KBA North America (Williston, VT) has promoted John Raithel, regional vice president of sales, to the newly-created position of senior vice president of sales for its sheetfed division. Raithel will oversee the entire sheetfed sales force in North America and will report directly to KBA President and CEO Holger Garbrecht as part of the Executive Management Team.

“This is an exciting time for KBA in North America,” says Raithel. “Our introduction of new press models and groundbreaking technologies will help our customers differentiate themselves. Providing technology which helps our clients to enter new markets and become more profitable is what KBA is all about. I’ll be working closely with our sales and product management teams to help them partner with our customers to show the wide range of products we have to offer.”

Raithel has served KBA in a number of management positions for the past four years including, sales manager for KBA Canada and vice president of used equipment. Raithel came to KBA from another printing press manufacturer where he spent 18 years in sales and management and was recognized regionally and nationally for top sales performance. Raithel grew up in Michigan where he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Ferris State University. His early career focused on print production and plant management giving him a unique insight and well-rounded understanding of print operations to the sales process.
