The Graphic Arts Education and Research Foundation (GAERF) (Reston, VA) has launched a new career website to aid graphic-communications students in their job search
The website, found at http://www.makeyourmark.com, is part of the second phase of GAERF’s MAKE YOUR MARK in Graphic Communications campaign. Phase one involved the distribution of graphic-arts career kits to 65,000 high school teachers and guidance counselors in the U.S.
The site features photo interviews with current industry professionals, an interactive quiz that matches personal interests to related jobs and an interactive skills chart, as well as information on schools, programs, scholarships and links for job searches.
For more information on GAERF, call (866) 381-9838 or visit http://www.gaerf.org.
