Enovation sells 1000th PictroProof

Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc. (Valhalla, NY) has sold its 1,000th Fujifilm PictroProof remote proofing device.
Fujifilm debuted the two-page PictroProof digital contone proofer in October 1999; the PictroProof II was introduced at Graph Expo 2003. Both versions use Fujifilm’s thermal development and transfer technology, a laser-diode imaging process that reportedly produces fast, high-quality color results. The devices use CMYK donor material and receiver paper to simulate commercial printing inks and stocks, resulting in a preview of the final product.
