Apr 28, 2004 2:39 PM, AP staff
The Crouser Professional Performance Alliance, an organization of independently owned family businesses, presented three companies with awards for print-shop management in 2003. Southern Maryland Printing & Graphics (Clinton, MD), RiverCity Print and Imaging, Inc. (Little Rock, AK) and Summit Print & Mail (Lockport, NY) were awarded for maintaining high standards of operational performance as measured by financial strength, profitability and growth. The companies’ performance ranks them in the top five percent of all North American print companies.
Southern Maryland Printing & Graphics became the first company to win the award four years in a row. RiverCity Print won for the third-consecutive year, while Summit Print earned its first performance award.
The Crouser Alliance strives to achieve the highest performance from small businesses, who may lack highly developed systems and leadership. Companies from throughout the U.S. participate in the program.
