Fifteen Xerox (Rochester, NY) DocuPrint N4525 network laser printers have been purchased to print international daily newspapers at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. NewspaperDirect (New York City), which has an exclusive distribution agreement for out-of-market print-on-demand newspapers at the 2002 Olympic Games, will be partnering with the Newspaper Agency Corp. (Salt Lake City) to print and distribute about 80,000 international newspapers to attendees, athletes and media personnel at the games. More than 100 newspaper titles will be available. The DocuPrints are expected to produce approximately two million newspaper pages during the course of the event.
