Xeikon International (Lier, Belgium) has appointed Joost Verbrugge the new CEO of Xeikon International. Verbrugge was CEO of Barconet until the end of last year, when the U.S.-based Scientific Atlanta acquired the company. Prior to that, he held the position of president for Barco Asia.

Jan Van Daele, the former president of Xeikon R&D who served as interim CEO when Punch International acquired the company, will pursue other career opportunities outside Xeikon.

Xeikon International, along with CTP manufacturer Strobbe Graphics, are part of Punch International's graphic business unit overseen by Joost De Graeve.

The company has indicated that Xeikon is expected to report break-even results for its first consolidated quarter and will not impact the operational results for Punch International.
