Wisconsin Color Press, a commercial printer based in Milwaukee, has filed for bankruptcy and may be up for sale, according to the company’s attorney. In an article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, bankruptcy attorney Dan Zazove is quoted as saying, "They are just not printing as much."
Wisconsin Color is owned by a group of businesses and individuals, including company CEO Fred Cappetta. The 250-employee printer reportedly claimed assets and liabilities of more than $43 million. Zazove says Wisconsin Color is considering a variety of options with its creditors, including selling the company.
