Royse Manufacturing Co. (Dallas) and Tri-Service, Inc. (Chicago) have announced the two companies have signed letter of intent for Royse to acquire the sheet-fed business of Tri-Service.

Royse will assume control of the Tri-Service brand name and Chicago-based manufacturing, service, and installation functions related to the sheetfed and narrow-web lithographic business operations.

With last year’s acquisition of Electronic Systems Incorporated (ESI), and ongoing internal product development, Royse now offers individual dampening circulators, central dampening circulators, ink roller chilling systems and devices, combination chilling units that join into a single enclosure fountain dampening circulation and ink roller cooling, ink and coating dryers, powder spray systems, ink distribution systems, and coating circulation systems for aqueous and ultraviolet (UV) coating materials.

Robert Buenz, president of TriService, will continue to operate the lithographic web segment of the business as a separate organization.
