NUR Macroprinters Ltd. (Lod, Israel) is consolidating and
streamlining its American operations. Boston-based NUR America Inc.
and San Antonio, TX-based Salsa Digital Printers Ltd., also known
as NUR Engineering USA, will be consolidated into a single large
facility in San Antonio. The two wholly owned subsidiaries will
operate side-by-side and will share administrative and other
resources.
NUR America remains the sales and customer support organization for
NUR Macroprinters in Canada, the U.S., Central and South America,
while NUR Engineering USA retains its role as the research and
development and manufacturing operation for the NUR Salsa Ultima
line of wide-format digital printers.
NUR's re-alignment also includes management changes: Rick Clarke,
president of NUR Engineering is now the president of NUR America,
Inc. Judith Vandsburger, who previously held several positions
within the company's Latin American sales organization, is now the
director of marketing. Joel Jeselsohn, CFO of NUR Engineering USA,
is expanding his role and his now CFO of NUR America as well. Bill
Leach, former vice president of R&D at NUR Engineering USA, has
been appointed vice president of technical services.
