ScenicSoft, Inc. (Lynnwood, WA), a print and prepress software provider, and Müller Martini (Hauppauge, NY) have announced a working CIP3 link based on the PPF format. This link connects ScenicSoft's print-production planning tool, UpFront, and Müller Martini's saddlestitching systems. The two companies will demonstrate the CIP3 link at Ipex.

The introduction of CIP3 integration reportedly cuts the makeready and changeover times for motorized Müller Martini stitching lines that are equipped with AMRYS (Automatic MakeReadY System).
