PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Project Improvements: Implement capital projects to increase machine utilization and improve product quality.

  • Process Improvements: Initiate, implement & support new equipment and process upgrades to minimize scrap, increase productivity and improve quality.

  • Promote safety as the most important value in the organization by contributing through training, process improvements and other EHS responsibilities.

  • Be an active member of the Greenfield support staff. Help In the development and training of Greenfield team members (current processes).

  • Training/Procedure creation on new processes implemented.

  • Capital planning and execution on specific projects.

  • Perform troubleshooting on machine operations (working in conjunction with Process Engineering group).

JOB COMPETENCIES:

  • B.S. Mechanical Engineering required.

  • Project management experience.

  • AutoCad drawing capabilities.

  • Ability to work with others in a team environment.

  • Proven ability to accomplish work through delegation and team work.

  • Strong organizational and computer skills.

  • Greenbelt certification desirable.
