Larry Warter, director of new business development at Fuji Photo Film U.S.A. (Hanover Park, IL), has been awarded the International Prepress Assn.’s (IPA) (Edina, MN) Leonard Holzinger Award in recognition of his contributions to the IPA and the graphic communication industry. Warter received the award at IPA’s Premedia 2002 technical seminar taking place May 14-16 in Chicago. He is a member of the organization’s board of directors and serves on its Downstream Team, which is focused on developing resources to assist in the production of digital, variable-data, traditional and large-format printing.
Also at the technical seminar, IPA chairman Mike Danz announced IPA’s new logo and tagline, "the association of graphic solutions providers." The organization has divided itself into four member teams addressing upstream and downstream selling opportunities, as well as management and operational issues.
