Heidelberg announces ‘Summer University’

Heidelberg's Print Media Academy (Heidelberg, Germany) will be launching its first ever "Summer University" program in August, aimed at owners and managers of printing companies and media businesses. Fees for the international six-day training course are $2,500, and do not cover travel and accommodation costs.

The Summer University will focus on topics such as innovation management, marketing and sales, human resources, finance and new technologies, with particular emphasis on digital printing. The curriculum will be taught through lectures, presentations, workshops and self-learning modules. The international group will be taught in English. Course size is limited to 25 people.

The program also takes in cultural aspects: Visits to print shops and media businesses in Germany are planned.
