Fred Rogers, former DuPont executive and former managing director of the Research & Engineering Council of the Graphic Arts Industry, has been named recipient of the Edwin S. Wise Award for 2002.
Sponsored by the Graphic Arts Sales Foundation (GASF) (West Chester, PA), the award honors contributions by an individual or organization to sales and marketing education in the graphic arts industry.
Prior to retiring, Rogers served in various positions in the Imaging Systems and Electronic Systems division of E.I. DuPont deNemours and Co. (Wilmington, De). In addition to his R&E Council leadership role, he has been active in other industry associations.
"No one has been more dedicated to education and recruitment and training of young talent into our industry," said Dick Gorelick, GASF president. "He has been a major presence through the years in every aspect of graphic arts education."
