Goss International Corp. (Westmont, IL) has appointed Robert A. Brown as chief executive officer. Brown also will serve on the company's board of directors.
Brown joins Goss with over 20 years of experience in the printing press systems industry, including a number of engineering, manufacturing, sales and management positions. Most recently, Brown served as president and CEO of Heidelberg Web Systems, Inc., directing an international operation with facilities in the USA, France and Holland. Brown will begin his duties with Goss immediately.
In other company news, Edward R. Padilla has been invited to serve as its chairman of the board of directors. Padilla joins the board with over 40 years of experience in the newspaper publishing and printing industries. Padilla was one of the founders of the Goss Metro Users Association. As Goss Chairman, he will assist in identifying and meeting customer needs for new press equipment.
