Flint Ink’s North American packaging division (Ann Arbor, MI.) has introduces a series of UV and EB curable ink systems for label converters and printers.
The Flint Ink systems include Matrixcure, Gemini, and Arrowbeam for litho printing, and Cureflex and Arcure for flexo application.
The Matrixcure UV inks are said to cure quickly and produce impenetrable bonds. Matrixcure systems also reportedly offer improved gray balance and provide enhanced ink/water latitude.
The Gemini ink system is said to enable converters to achieve sharp wet traps between printing stations and utilize minimal UV light at the end of the press for curing.
Flint Ink’s Arrowbeam ink system is a series of process inks and blending bases designed specifically for EB curing applications. The system also works on variety of substrates, including synthetics.
