Agfa Graphic Systems (Ridgefield Park, NJ) and the Printing
Industry of the Carolinas (PICA) are co-sponsoring a series of PDF
and digital proofing seminars. The workshops, being held April 8-11
in various locations in North and South Carolina, will focus on
issues related to PDF and digital proofing.
Topics for the seminar include "Distiller vs. Normalizer," "Digital Proofing: Your Options Kept Simple" and "Impact on Production."
Deborah Hutcheson, U.S. marketing manager of Apogee Workflow and Digital Proofing Systems, Agfa, is one of the presenters. "Agfa believes, and its products reflect, that PDF is a defining technology for the next generation of production workflows," Hutcheson says. "It is an indispensable tool for the graphic arts," Hutcheson added.
