SIR SPEEDY ATLANTA INSTALLS HEIDELBERG NEXPRESS

Heidelberg U.S.A. (Kennesaw, GA) and Sir Speedy, Inc. (Mission Viejo, CA) have initiated a collaborative on-demand, custom printing R&D effort. Heidelberg's NexPress 2100 digital color press will be installed at select Sir Speedy centers nationwide for on-the-job trials and qualification. The Sir Speedy Center in Tucker, GA, is the first to receive the machine.

The NexPress 2100 was developed jointly with Eastman Kodak Co. and utilizes “dry-ink” technology and a NexQ quality-control system to produce collated, dry and static-free, ready-to-finish sets at a full engine speed of 2,100 13.8 × 18.5-inch sph.
