SAPPI LAUDS CHICAGO PRINTER

Black Box Collotype (Chicago), a firm that specializes in the use of collotype and screenless lithography for reproducing fine art, was named Sappi North American Printer of the Year by Sappi Fine Paper (London). The award ceremony took place at the Palace of the Lost City, South Africa, where Michael Intrator of Black Box accepted the award for printing excellence for the book "En Passant: Black and White Photographs by Dennis Manarchy," printed on Sappi's Lustro Dull stock.

The Sappi Printer of the Year competition is held annually in North America, Europe and South Africa to determine regional winners in the categories of annual reports, brochures, magazines and journals, books, catalogs and general. More than 3,000 entries were judged for the North American competition.
