The Court of Commerce in Belfort, France, has reportedly approved Koonras Technologies Ltd.'s offer to acquire Xeikon France's activities and intellectual property, including taking over its 268 employees. Koonras owns Nipson Digital Printing Systems B.V., which recently created the subsidiary Nipson SAS (Belfort, France). The Court of Commerce has also reportedly accepted Nipson Digital Printing Systems' offer to acquire 100 percent of the shares of Xeikon Deutschland GmbH. It will assume the sales and service functions of Xeikon France and Xeikon Deutschland in the U.S. and UK in the near future; products will be marketed under the Nipson brand. Marc Blanpain, former general manager of Xeikon Japan Ltd., will serve as general manager of Nipson SAS.
