Flint Group appoints CEO

Flint Group (Luxembourg) has appointed Charles Knott as CEO, effective September 1, 2007. He succeeds Dave Frescoln, who will serve as deputy chairman of the company's boards.

Most recently, Knott served four years as chairman and CEO of Quest Intl., a flavor and fragrance subsidiary of global specialty chemical company ICI plc. Knott currently is a nonexecutive director of Imperial Tobacco Group plc.
