Reston, VA-based PRIMIR, the Print Industries Market Information and Research Organization, announces the lineup for its Winter Meeting in Florida. Slated for December 6-8, 2010 at the Renaissance Boca Raton Hotel in Florida, the meeting will feature highlights from the latest PRIMIR research study, "Trends & Future of Direct Marketing," in a presentation by principal researchers John Zarwan, J Zarwan Partners, and David Davis, Interquest.

According to the study, "With the growth of non-print direct marketing activities, and increasing competition from new forms of marketing and promotional tools, the role of print in direct marketing is clearly under pressure." PRIMIR Winter Meeting attendees will learn about the pressure points as well as opportunities for print within the various vertical markets covered in the study.

PRIMIR attendees will hear from Meldon Wolfgang of the Boston Consulting Group about a recent study of the "U.S. Postal Mail Volume" and how the findings are pertinent to the printing industry. Plus, Dr. Ronnie Davis, vice president/chief economist of the Printing Industries of America, will share his insights about the evolving industry in a presentation entitled "Beyond the Horizon: Future Paths for the Printing Industry."

PRIMIR Winter Meeting attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the nearby Océ Customer Experience Center.
