The Loveland, OH-based Sustainable Green Printing Partnership announces Tweddle Group of Clinton Township, MI, received the milestone 25th SGP Printer certification. The SGP Partnership is a non-profit organization that promotes reducing the environmental impact and increasing the social responsibility of the print and graphic communication industry. Tweddle Group achieved SGP certification by adhering to sustainable green printing practices in its business operations.
"We believe that the SGP Partnership fits nicely with the direction that Tweddle and our sustainability team are pursuing. Protecting the environment is one of our core values, and we want Tweddle Group to be at the forefront of the printing industry's sustainability efforts," says Joe Bennett, director of print and distribution, Tweddle. "We also believe in the value of continuous improvement and are committed to an ongoing effort to reduce the amount of damage we do to our environment, whether it is through learning how to improve our recycling efforts or working with processless plates."
