My somewhat simplistic advice is for Patrick Donahoe to stay on the course he's set: customer focus, business development and a leaner operation. Also, get the USPS into a more proactive stance on public and legislative issues. Be more out-front with its own story about what it needs to do, or needs from Congress. The agency has a long history of silence and that does it a disservice when so many other parties have strong opinions. — Leo Raymond, vice president, postal & member relations, Mailing and Fufillment Assn.
The Mailing and Fulfillment Assn. teamed with QP Consulting to compile a comprehensive national study of pricing for mailing services. It includes typical pricing based on national averages for mailing services as well as regional prices and the middle range of prices for those services. The $179 survey is available to MFSA members only. See www.mfsanet.org.
