Finishing equipment vendor Spiel Associates will host an open house on March 24 and 25, to showcase its new Sterling Doublebinder, which features “Layflat Technology.”
The machine binds books as strong as PUR, according to the company. It glues not only the spine, but between the pages. It will bind up to 300 books per hour and accepts book blocks up to 2 inches thick.
Also on display will be Spiel’s tabletop perfect binder, The Sterling Digibinder, as well as The Sterling Digipunch auto punch and The Coilmaster Jr. automatic tabletop plastic coil inserter.
